Goodbye labels,

hello you

We're rethinking how fashion brands can create inclusive retail environments

ABOUT

There is an ever-evolving set of principles, practices, and experiences when it comes to the world of shopping. Go Non-Binary! aims to facilitate a conversation about what it looks like to foster an inclusive environment in retail spaces. We are a group of designers, curators, collaborators–simply human beings–working to show the world that our voices deserve to be heard. Our goal is to consider how we can challenge ourselves in order to form a truly safe experience for non-binary shoppers.

OUR MISSION

We aim to build a community where non-binary people are recognized and respected and where every individual has the freedom to express their gender as they see fit.

OUR PROMISE

We are committed to recontextualizing gender through the lens of design and innovation by creating non-binary spaces in digital and physical environments. This site welcomes everyone regardless of demographics and gender identity.

While many non-binary people prefer to dress in an androgynous fashion, this is not true for everyone. There are folks who dress in a more traditionally masculine or feminine way. It can also change day-to-day; some people may choose to wear a skirt one day and a suit the next!

“Everyone” is an inclusive way to address a group of people. Other options include “folks,” or, if you’re more familiar with the group, “friends” is a great one!
